Media development professional and former journalist with nearly two decades of experience in journalism, media development, and press freedom. She supports the Media Support Network on journalists' safety and security, and served on the Bangladesh Government's Media Reform Commission. Began her career as a reporter and later worked with several leading television channels and news organizations in Bangladesh. A U.S. State Department journalism fellowship alumna through the Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Oklahoma.
